AND THE OIL CEASED
Text: Let thy garment be always white and let your head lack no ointment, Ecclesiastes 9:8.
The oil in this context is the anointing on the head of the anointed. The problem we have in some part of the world is that believers are beginning to loosen their grip on salvation and their callings. Lots of believers have allowed little sins and they have compromised what they believed.
Many prophets have become parrots because their oil have ceased. Many pastors are now past tense. Many eagles have also become chickens, just because their oil have ceased.
Some believers have become ex-champions just like Samson. They have gotten disconnected from their source. They now intend to go to war and act like they used to, but the oil have ceased.
Some men of vibrance and forces to reckoned with are ending up like King Saul. They have forgotten that there is no sin with little magnitude. Disobedience is beginning to get the better part of their calling.
As a matter of fact, a man cannot be empty. It is either you are filled of God or of something else. Just like it was in the case of Saul; the spirit of God departed from him and an evil spirit from God made his life their abode.
Do not grieve your source of oil. Let the oil keep flowing like the one poured on Aaron's head.
May God keep you strong in Him
