He Can Use Your Foolishness!

HE CAN USE YOUR FOOLISHNESS

Text: "But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty;" - 1Corinthians 1:27

Men of little or no knowledge of God assume that God has a taste and qualification for the king of people he desires to use. They feel God needs wise men, wealthy personnels, men of affluence, but NO! God does not call the qualified, He simply qualifies the called. God is not after what you have, or who you are; He just does things to make His plans manifest at all cost.

But in all, God has chosen the foolish things of this world to confound the wise, and He prefers to use the weakest things of life to bring confusion to strong ones. Remember how he used Naaman's maid to lead him to the place he would get healing.

He once used a donkey! He enlightened the eyes of Balaam's donkey on his assignment to curse the people of God. Balaam was a man of God, but yet, what he couldn't see, his donkey saw!

Eli was a Priest unto God, he had two sons - Hophni and Phinehas; but God still preferred to use little Samuel to convey His messages at a very tender age.

He once used a stammerer! He can use you.  Despite knowing that Moses was a stammerer, He used Moses to wrought many signs and wonders; and by the hands of Moses, the seeds of Abraham were liberated from captivity after 430 years.

In a whole city where there are lots of able bodied men, matured and full grown men; God still chose to use 8years old Joash. He reigned as king and was perfect in the sight of God.

The Awesome God used a piece of wood to make an Axe float. God is wonderful. A woman's story changed because a man of God told her to keep filling  large vessels with the little oil in a jar. It worked!

Our Lord Jesus Christ defied human reasoning by telling Peter to get money from a fish's belly.

God can use your foolishness, no one can force himself on God. God will make His choice of people by Himself. You don't have to be wise to enjoy God's preference.

Remember this that men are chosen by God's mercy. Romans 9:16 - "So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy."

Peter was just an uneducated fisherman, but still, the foundation of the early church was formed around him. To the men of the world as at then, it marveled them that the ordinary Peter they knew could stand tall in their midst and tell them about Christ.

He can confound the wisdom of your enemies with your foolishness, just avail yourself like Peter, Andrew, James and John did.

God Bless You!
