WHAT NEXT AFTER DEATH?
Text: And as
it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment. Hebrews 9:27
It’s a thing of pity that some
people, even so called Christians believe that death is the end of every man.
They have forgotten that death only terminates a man’s appointment here on
earth, and it paves way for the one in eternity. I am putting it straight to us
that there is LIFE AFTER DEATH; it
is a life that even death can do nothing to terminate. Death can not hinder
this life. It is a life that has no end. It is eternal.
But eternity is two sides of a
coin. The first side of eternity is the right hand side of God, where we have
the Pearly Gates leading into the Streets of Gold. There we shall be forever
after holding on to the faith and fighting its good fight here on earth. This place
is meant for people that are ready to endure the weight of the cross with self
denial; those whose names would be found in the Lamb’s Book of Life.
The other side of eternity is
where the children of rebellion will see the other side of God’s mercy. This is
where the Devil is bringing the souls he has won on earth. The Bible has it
that in this place, there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
Now, like Joshua did with the
Israelites in Joshua 24:15, I set before you life and death, good and evil, the
Streets of Gold and Gehenna; but I beseech you, choose Christ who is life; that
you may live even after death.
Remember, death is not the worst
calamity to befall any man! There is life after death.
