WHEN GOD STEPS IN

WHEN GOD STEPS IN…
Text: 2 Kings 4:1-6

God is Omniscient. He knows all things. He knows what every man is going through. He is Omnipotent. He has the solution to whatever anyone is going through. He knows the crossroad you are at right now.

Our reading portion shows how God stepped into the matter of a widow whose husband was heavily indebted before his death. God miraculously settled the debt. When God steps in, the unexpected begins to happen because God does not work according to the wisdom of men.

When God steps in, the heaven and the earth join forces to favour God’s children, to settle their cases, and to fight their battles for them. Like it happened in the case of the Israelites in a battle led by Joshua; God stepped in and made the sun stand still without going down till the battle was done. He can do much more for you.

When God steps in, protocols are broken. Esther, Daniel, and Mordecai enjoyed this dividend of divine intervention. God transformed Esther’s status from being a slave girl to being a queen in a foreign land. Joseph got favoured as well; he went from being a prisoner to becoming a Prime Minister in a foreign land. I pray for you this moment that God will step in when you least expect and break protocols for you in Jesus’ name.

Whatever you are going through, God has the solution, a permanent solution. God will never step in for a sinner. He wants every sinner to come to repentance. Let go of that sinful way of life and let God have his way with you. Start a relationship with Him and He’ll always be at your beck and call. Please come to Him, He will step in and give you rest.
