What The Bible Says About Your Self-Confidence

WHAT THE BIBLE SAYS ABOUT YOUR SELF-CONFIDENCE

Text: Numbers 13:25-33

Our God and Father – whose children we are, does not get glorified when His children go about with a poor self-esteem or self-confidence. He wants His children to fine-tune their mind-set and build their confidence from within. God is never glorified in your inferiority complex. He wants children who can withstand the enemies in the gate.

Our text highlights the encounter of the spies sent out to spy out Canaan. Ten men came with reports that they can’t take the land. The shocking part was written in verse 33 of the text; the men said they felt like grasshoppers beside the giants in the land of Canaan, and so did the giants see and feel about them. Stunning!

This shows that even the devil waits for moments like this so he can freely oppress and torment us seeing we no longer know how much we are worth.

There is a broad margin between self-confidence and Pride. You don’t need to possess all the material things in the world to have a healthy self-esteem.

You can’t afford to ruin God’s plan with your lack of self-confidence. Remember, you are what you think about yourself. What you think of yourself is what others see too.
