AN ERA OF NEWNESS
Text: And He that
sat upon the throne said: "Behold, I make all things new."
-Revelations 21:5
In the book of Isaiah
43:17-19, the word of God revealed to us that it is a promise from God that we
should await new things. These new things will almost defile human reasoning.
Can you imagine streams flowing in deserts? When God says a thing, nothing
alters it.
God is ready to re-write the stories of many people this
season. I pray that He will not pass you by in Jesus’ name. Don’t allow your
troubles and worries of yesterday derail you from God’s plan. His plans are
beautiful plans of peace (Jeremiah 29:11). He wants you to forget those pains
of the past else they won’t allow you partake in this new era.
Take a close examination of Obed-Edom’s life; he was a wretch
and a non-entity, but for his sake, the unusual happened and his era of newness
began. For your sake, I decree in the
name of the Lord, the unusual will happen in your favour.
Remember Jabez; he came to life innocently like every other
baby, but things weren’t so smooth for him, he lived his life in sorrow until
he called out to his Maker and God intervened and he became more honourable
than his brothers.
Do you remember Esther; things that naturally not happen happened
just for Esther’s story to be heard. Whether you believe it or not, when God
begins with you, stories of your exploits will spread throughout the earth in
Jesus’ name.
Do you remember Job, Jacob, the man born without eyes, the
mad man of Gadara (Mark 5:1-6) and many other people that have enjoyed the era
of newness?
Because our lives need this Era of Newness; because we want our
crooked places to be made straight, let’s quickly talk to God:
1. Father, I bless You for the special
interest You took in me
2. Sweet Jesus, please every negatives
in my life, please re-write them
3. Dear Father, please pay me a visit as You did to Abraham.
4. Please, let all things begin to work
together in my favour from this moment
5. Personal prayer points.
