DIVINE VISITATION
Genesis 21:1
As the Lord desired to have His way, He is prepared to start paying visits to His people. Divine visitation is when God desires to change things relating to His people. The time of God's visitation no man knows and neither can anyone predict. I pray for everyone reading this message that you will not miss your time of visitation in Jesus' name.
When God visits, the following happens:
- There is salvation. Like in the case of Zaccheus, Christ visited him and declared that "This day is salvation come into this house..." - Luke 19:9
- There is restoration. Just as was foretold through Prophet Joel, that God was set to pay Israel a visit and when He does, He will restore to them the years that the locust hath eaten..." Joel 2:25
- There is fruitfulness. Our Bible text tell us about how God promised to visit Sarah; that visit marked the end of her barrenness. Genesis 21:1
- There is deliverance: God's visit to Egypt brought about so many disasters and plagues on the land; but this same visit was a catalyst to the deliverance of the Israelites.
- There is healing. Jesus visited Peter's home only to find Peter's mother-in-law sick of fever, believe me, that was when the fever vanished.
- God's glory is made manifest. When the Apostles awaited the promise of visitation of God the Holy Spirit, the moment He came in, His glory filled the whole place, Acts 2:1-4. This same thing happens when we worship God.
