PRAISE WILL ALWAYS WORK
Text: 2Chronicles 20:18-22
Many believers today have given up on God because they feel their prayers are not being answered; not knowing that in some cases prayer is not required. Let me put it this way; when prayer fails, give praise a trial.
I never knew that PRAISE could turn into a weapon of confusion against the enemies; our Bible text shows this clearly. How God instructed King Jehoshaphat that all He wanted was praises; and through this, God showed Himself strong.
The only thing in a Christian service that can move God is praise! I have noticed this a countless number of time that whenever praise is being offered to God, there is an atmospheric change, everyone present begins to feel God's presence. Then testimonies roll-on. Praise is capable of loosing bounds.
Praise can make you find Favour with God. David never deprived God of praise. He offered it in season and out of season - thus he became a man after God's heart. Remember to praise God even when you don't feel like.
In the place of praise, the awesomeness of God is felt and made real, why? God has made praise His hhabitation. Psalms 22:3 - "But thou art holy, O thou that inhabits the praises of Israel."
Let us make this a custom; whenever we want to approach God's throne in prayer, let praise lead the way. I can assure you, it would take you right into the Courts of the Ancient of Days!
Psalms 100:4; "Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name."
