RESTORATION
Text: “When the Lord
turned again the captivity of Zion,
We were like them that dream” – Psalm 126:1
Restoration can be said to be the recovery of something that
was lost, stolen or taken by force. Restoration could sometimes mean bringing a
“not-so-good” situation back to the state of normalcy. Restoration goes beyond
financial recovery or health restoration. The word restoration is all
encompassing; it spheres across all areas of human endeavour.
I have met so many people over time who have spoken and
complained about a sudden change in their fortune; some talked about how they
once had a perfect state of health and now it’s one sickness today and another
tomorrow.
Unknown to some believers, they have been held captive by the
powers of darkness of this world (Eph. 6:12). These believers claim to bent on
making heaven so they forget that as Christians the devil and his cohorts
should not make their earthly destinies blurry. They see every disappointment
as the handwork of God (even when they are clearly not) so they refuse to
rebuke the enemy at work.
Don’t let us be ignorant in this age and time. We should
understand the devises and wiles of the devil. The devil knows that God has
given us all things that pertain to life and godliness, so he doesn’t want us
to enjoy these things.
Believers that want things to turn around for their good must
be ready to pray and pray through. The devil is aware of God’s plans for your life.
Examine your life at this moment; is there anything that used
to be in place and is no longer in place? Have I despised any of my possessions
and lost it? Is this how things used to
be for me? Is this where I ought to be?
Remember, “Anyone that can’t pray will become a prey to the
enemies.” So, let’s do this together:
1. Father, I thank You because I will
receive divine settlement today
2. Daddy, please restore every virtue
that I have lost through non-challancy
3. Everything about me that is no longer
in place, Father please restore them
4. Father, from this moment, let the
lines begin to fall to me in pleasant places (Psalm 16:6)
5. Personal prayer points.
