ERA OF REVIVAL

Text: Behold, the days come, saith the Lord GOD, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the LORD: Amos 8 : 11 

Our generation is bracing up for an out-pour of revival. The Men of Issachar of our time (who have an understanding of times and season) knows that an out-pour is closing in on us. An era in which men will suffer hunger; but not the hunger for food. Women will go thirsty; but this thirst will not be for physical water.

Our text says explicitly that: 

“Behold, the days are coming,” says the Lord God,
“When I will send hunger over the land,
Not hunger for bread or a thirst for water,
But rather [a hunger] for hearing the words of the Lord. (AMP Version)

This was also foretold in the book of Joel 2:28.
 

“It shall come about after this
That I shall pour out My Spirit on all mankind;
And your sons and your daughters will prophesy,
Your old men will dream dreams,
Your young men will see visions. (AMP Version)

The only role you have to play in this is to prepare yourself and make yourself available for His use. 2 Timothy 2:21 that "If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master's use, and prepared unto every good work."
